The pattern itself is representative of the traditional Navajo Nation Klagetoh in Arizona. It and features geometric designs in red, black, grey, and white. The Klagetoh trading post, along with the Ganado trading post, was owned by Juan Lorenzo Hubbell, a significant figure in the early Navajo rug period.
